Quick answer. TNSTC town-bus route 111 in Coimbatore is a loop service — both endpoints are at the same terminal, and the bus makes a full circuit rather than running point-to-point. The Coimbatore City Municipal Corporation currently lists the loop at Gandhipuram (re-checked 17 October 2026). Saravanampatti is a well-known stop on the outer arc of the loop (via Thudiyalur, Vellakinar and Ganapathy), not an endpoint. The service is a regular (ordinary) town bus operated by TNSTC Coimbatore Region.

Note on the source record. The current CCMC route table lists Route 111 as Gandhipuram → Gandhipuram (a loop). A historical Coimbatore RTO directory recorded the same-numbered service as an Ukkadam loop, and community usage often shortens the description to “Gandhipuram to Saravanampatti” because Saravanampatti is the most familiar stop on the outer arc. All three descriptions are describing the same loop service — the terminal has shifted over the years and the endpoint stop is not the destination stop. We publish the CCMC endpoint as the current-source fact and mark Saravanampatti as an intermediate landmark. If your journey ends at Saravanampatti, the 111 boarded at Gandhipuram will get you there via Thudiyalur.

Stops listed are the commonly known landmarks along the loop. TNSTC does not publish a stop-by-stop timetable for individual town services, so the exact stop list at your boarding point is best confirmed at the bus stand or by asking the conductor.
