About Agri Intex
Agri Intex is the agricultural trade fair run by CODISSIA, the Coimbatore District Small Industries Association, at its Trade Fair Complex on Avinashi Road. The organiser describes its aim as introducing contemporary agriculture, horticulture, dairy farming and food processing technologies, and it welcomes exhibitors from across the agricultural value chain, from farm equipment to food processing.
The fair is held every July over four or five days. The 2022 fair ran from 15 to 18 July (the 20th edition), 2023 from 14 to 17 July (21st), 2024 from 11 to 15 July (22nd), and 2026 from 9 to 13 July (the 24th edition). The organiser lists live demonstrations of machinery and equipment, native breeds of cows and goats on display, and a Poultry Expo held alongside.
For the 2023 fair, CODISSIA's site gave the entry fee as Rs 50 for the general public, with no charge for farmers who bring a Kisan card or other proof that they farm. It has not published the entry terms for later editions on the pages we checked. CODISSIA has not announced the 2027 dates yet.
Organiser: CODISSIA (organised through CODISSIA Intec Technology Centre)
