Coimbatore also has a large population of over 2 million people, making it the second-largest city in the state.
With such a large and diverse population, Coimbatore needs a strong and efficient police force to maintain law and order, prevent crime, and protect the citizens.
In this post, we will provide you with the contact details of the Coimbatore City Police Officers, who are responsible for various divisions and functions of the police department.
You can use this information to reach out to them in case of any emergency, complaint, or query.
We hope this post will be useful for you and help you stay safe and secure in Coimbatore.
About the two lists below: they are copied from the “Police Department” contact PDF on the Coimbatore district website’s disaster management page. That PDF was created in October 2020, and every row below matches it. We could not find a newer official list of Assistant Commissioners or DSPs: the Tamil Nadu Police and Coimbatore City Police websites did not load when we checked on 17 October 2026. Officers transfer often, so check with the Commissioner’s or SP’s office before relying on a name or mobile number.
